Dijana Carić graduated from the Faculty of Economics in Novi Sad, in the Domestic and International Trade Management department. She acquired the title Master of Economic Sciences in the field of International Business Negotiations at the same faculty.
She has received numerous awards, the most important ones being an award granted by the Faculty of Economics for exceptional success achieved during her studies, as well as an award granted by Eurobank a.d. in the context of the project “We Invest in European values”. However, the award dearest to her was the one received from the European Movement Serbia — a three-month journey through Europe. During her student years, Carić visited many companies in Europe, the most important ones being the Mercedes-Benz factory in Sindelfingen (Stuttgart) and the BMW factory in Munich.
She started her career at Raiffeisen Bank, where she was renowned for handling conflicts with difficult clients, as well as for recognizing fraud attempts. She went on to work in the economic sector, where she collaborated with business partners from around the world, thus gaining a deeper understanding of the fields of communicology and negotiation. Her professional orientation includes business negotiation, nonverbal communication, and economic diplomacy.
“The Art of Negotiation” is her first professional book. Carić conducts in-house training sessions and one-day training sessions on topics such as:
“How to negotiate successfully”, “How to become a top salesperson”, and “How to recognize manipulation and lies”. She also conducts business improvement training seminars on negotiation and sales organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia. Furthermore, she is a writer for the internet portal “BIZlife” and the professional magazine “Industrija”.
